Terms & Conditions

As a member and participator in Box Hill South Neighbourhood house programs you are subject to the following Terms and Conditions of use:
  • Fees are payable before the course starts and a Box Hill South confirmation receipt will be issued upon securing a place in your selected course. Please note unless a Box Hill South confirmation receipt is received then your enrolment has not been successful. In this case please contact the office for further clarification.
    Payment can be made by direct bank deposit, credit card over the phone. Also by coming into the centre to pay over the counter by cash, cheque, credit/eftpos card.  (Please note that only Mastercard and Visa credit cards are acceptable).
  • Details of all fees will be provided during the pre-enrolement phase.  All fee policies can be found at the center and online before you enrole for a class.
  • There are no medical reasons or pre-existing illness/es or injury/ies preventing me from participating in the class or activity for which I am enrolling and I am physically capable of performing the requirements relating to this class or activity.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, I acknowledge that Box Hill South Neighbourhood House gives no warranties in respect of the facilities and equipment it provides, and makes no representation as to the suitability of classes or activities for any individual.
  • I authorise Box Hill South Neighbourhood House to seek emergency medical, hospital, ambulance services or treatment as is deemed necessary on my behalf while attending the Centre. I also understand that Box Hill South Neighbourhood House bears no responsibility and I will indemnify Box Hill South Neighbourhood House for costs incurred as a result.
  • I acknowledge that I will not hold Box Hill South Neighbourhood House (or any of its employees) responsible for any personal injury (caused by negligence or otherwise), either direct, indirect, resulting or consequential, or any loss, expense, damage or injury suffered by me or to my property.
  • I acknowledge that Box Hill South Neighbourhood House is committed to safeguarding the Learners’ privacy, however situations may arise which require the disclosure of my personal information. I understand that Box Hill South Neighbourhood House acknowledges and adheres to the National Privacy Principles of the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) as amended.
  • I confirm that I will read all policies that relate to me partaking in any class at Box Hill South Neighbourhood house.  All policies are available on the Box Hill South Neighbourhood House Website or hard copy is available from reception.

Cancellations & Refund Policy

  • Refund and transfer requests. Refunds, transfers or credit will not be processed if you cancel within 48 hours of the class or event commencing. To request a refund or transfer, Box Hill South Neighbourhood House requires at least 48 hours notice via email (info@bhsnh.org.au) prior to the start of a class or event.
  • Partial refunds. Box Hill South Neighbourhood House has the right to issue a partial refund, and to retain any booking and processing fees associated with the order.
  • Missed classes. Box Hill South Neighbourhood House does not offer refunds, transfers, or makeup sessions for missed classes.
  • Cancelled class/event. In the event that a class is cancelled by Box Hill South Neighbourhood House, students will be notified via text message or email and entitled to a full refund, transfer or credit.
