About Us

We want to help individuals grow, link people together and see our community become stronger and a better place to live in.
Community Service
Who are we?

Box Hill South Neighbourhood House is a not-for-profit, community owned and managed organisation, offering activities and programs developed in response to the needs of the community. We operate on the community development model of practice; we want to help individuals grow, link people together and see our community become stronger and a better place to live in.

Membership of our house is open to anyone using our programs and activities, no matter where you live; everyone is welcome.

Funding Support

Our House receives some funding from the Department of Health and Human services and from the City of Whitehorse.

Approximately 50% of our income is generated by House participants. The City of Whitehorse provides our venue.
